I wanted to take a breather from my recent cataloging project to tell all of you about a research find that I made:

This website has so much information, you just have to go there to see it all!
There are Research Guides, Newspapers, Institutional Collections, and Civil War information, just to name a few.
What quickly made me stop and take a look:
Missouri Birth & Death Records Database, Pre-1910
Missouri Death Certificates, 1910-1962
What make these records a bit different from some of the other States’ Genealogy Databases online is that images for these certificates are available for downloading!
FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE! FREE!
Maybe I am just used to Politics and/or money getting in the way of making images available to the general public in many of my areas of research, but this was a nice surprise!
I searched the database for Charles Bay and in a few minutes of looking at the few Charles Bay records that came up, I had found my man:
