David Owen Humphreys was born in October 17, 1891, in Gardner, Grundy, Illinois.

He was the son of William Owen Humphreys and Gwendolyn Lloyd Humphreys.

He married Helen Warman prior to 1917.  I have been unsuccessful at finding the marriage so far.  Probably a trip to the courthouse is necessary.

In the 1920 census, he had three children:  Richard, Hildred, and Marion.

David Humphreys was buried on June 23, 1947, in Cotton Cemetery, Braceville, Grundy, Illinois.
